I was rejected because I lacked experience. I've done social work related work for the past 4 years. I have no idea what else they would have wanted from an applicant. Good luck to those still waiting to hear!

Received an email telling me my admissions decision had been posted online.

Received decision email on Friday 2/5 and decision letter was posted on application portal 2/8. Very quick decision as my application was just referred to the SW department on 2/1.

Received an email from the chair of the doctoral program telling me I will be made an offer to the school, but to expect a delay in the arrival of the official offer via the electronic admissions system.

Don't be discouraged if you haven't heard anything yet. Official letters coming later. Message me for additional details. My handle is "ChicagoGuy." I started a thread in the social work forum.

Received a call back from Malinda stating that decisions are going out between Feb 17th and Feb 23rd. At that time, finalists will be selected to visit at the end of March. (For MSW/PhD and PhD applicants--edit)

Portal status changed on SDSU sunspot website to say "Admitted provisionally", "Classified Graduate Student". Admission is provisional because I do not graduate with my Bachelor's degree until Spring. Confirmed status with Admissions office and was told that official letter is currently in the mail. Will definitely be accepting. I am thrilled to go to grad school back in my hometown!

Accepted to clinical concentration. All application materials were completed by 11/12. Logged into webportal and got the message. No email or letter yet.

I submitted on 1/16. Very excited about my acceptance!
