Very disappointed. Undergrad double degree from U of R, very high GPA, 3 years research experience in related area, 4 years total. have connections with department chair, contacted POI before applying and he seemed to be interested in my application. don't understand why I didn't even get an interview.

Nearly 5 years full time research experience, 9 pubs, 7 first author. Stats mean nothing. Good luck y'all

2 publications (1st author : impact factor>10, 1 coauthor) I'm so depressed because UW is one of my dream school.

"The NGP Admissions Committee has already completed the review of applications, and all of the interview invitations have been sent out. The committee has not decided if they will be sending out another round of invitations."

Seemed like a personal email to me. Encouraged me to apply to other programs and to another program within UW like Molecular Biology.
