I mailed the department asking them when will I get any update on my application status and received an auto-reply stating that if no professor has chosen my application by April 15 I won't be getting an admission offer. I don't understand why couldn't this be informed earlier or why couldn't they have sent a rejection? It's frustrating.

For those still waiting, just hang in there for a bit longer, Covid-19 is no doubt causing delays. Here's a snippet from the e-mail: "Given that I am preparing the offers from home it is taking me a little longer than normal. That said, if you do not receive the offer of admission from me via email by late-April please let me know". I'm a canadian applicant with an H.BSc from U of T in psychology (specialist) and philosophy (major).

Just heard about admission decision after long long time of waiting. Still waiting to hear about funding decision.

I received an E-Mail to check my status.The POI I spoke with initially was not the one given to me as my Supervisor but I think I like the research interest of the new supervisor. I will definitely attend if funding comes with it later.

Recieved an email with almost nothing but a pdf.
