Applied to Thesis degree - admitted to Professional Master's (full time)? Probably not accepting without the possibility of future funding

I went to CU as an undergrad and graduated in astrophysics. I applied to both the astrophysics and physics departments at CU for grad school, but didn't get accepted in either one.

I went to CU for undergrad and graduated with a degree in astrophysics. Really tried to leverage connections (for letters of recommendation, faculty networking, etc.) but no luck.

Rejected via email from Forbes. Expected outcome. Had to call in and request for an answer to be emailed. They have sent out all of their initial offers, and have a very small wait list (per the email). Will notify folks on waiting by April 10th (per phone call requesting said email). Very late this year, Boulder.
