Invited to virtual recruitment event Feb 10-12

It was a personalized email from POI. Attended 1/14-15 interview weekend. Very likely be taking the offer, so excited!

Potential advisor emailed me the invite. Really excited about it!

Received e-mail to check admission decisions on the portal, letter informed I was rejected. It was the second year I applied there, but in this application round, the admissions staff didn't even bother to reply my e-mails during the application process, so I guess I just wasted my time.
