TTPB: Thank you! I received a personalized email from the program director informing me that I have been accepted to the program with funding. The portal has not updated yet, I was told the official acceptance letter will come soon. Best of luck to those still waiting to hear back!

To the psychology PhD poster below: Where did you see the decision? How did you access it? I've honestly heard nothing either yet I haven't been rejected yet. Very confused about the UofT application process.

TTPB: Congratulations on your acceptance into the comp lit program at U of T!! If you don't mind me asking, did you receive the email from your PoI or the program coordinator? Did your application status change on the portal as well? Thank you!

Expected. From general browsing it seems a lot get admitted through undergrad/masters there already

TTPB: wondering if the people who got accepted would mind sharing their application profiles. Thank you in advance.

No email, found out by checking the portal. No interview so this was expected.

Did anyone from MASc ECE get called for an interview? If so when was it? And what's your specialisation

Worked with PI during my studies. Field: AI/robotics

TTPB: I am the Canadian citizen who posted earlier. I was accepted into theory. Good luck!

Has anyone heard anything from the history department at UofT ?

TTPB: Thanks! No interview. the DGS just called me to let me know that I was accepted. I had a couple of POIs mentioned in my app but I did not actually have to commit to one person as a definite supervisor at this stage.

DGP - interviewed Jan 7, received offer today.

Theory

Interview in the next 1-4 days

I believe the personal connection with the faculty worked in my case.
