Informal letter of acceptance from graduate registrar. Realization of a Dream! For future applicants: international students without any publications have slim (though not zero) chance here, they tend to slightly favor people with computational background than biological, try to make a strong scientific rapport with several (at least more than 1!) potential supervisors as the committee makes the final decision, not only one prospective professor.

a 25 min interview with 2 faculty members (not my POI)

I am wondering has anyone received official invites already?

Not WL, but has anyone heard from Yale? Have they sent out the invite for the formal interview?

Generic rejection email. Just got the email. "We regret to inform you blah blah blah". Bit bummed out, but the debt I would go into to attend this school would be insane. Good luck to everyone else! If a rejection like me, keep your head up. If an acceptance though, then congratulations!!!

Interviewed on Jan 20, 2022. No GRE. No Pub.

I am not sure about the results but at least I had a good time talking to the professors.

CMX

1 year research experience, No GRE, 1.5 years TA experience.

Very casual talk for about 50 minutes with a POI. Theory.

American but European undergrad and master's degree in progress (GPA: 3.74/4.0)

NOT AN ACCEPTANCE OR DENIAL OR WAITLIST. Rather, I got an email from the admissions office about "The Yale MPH Curriculum" which talked about the curriculum of the program, and how students on the track that I applied to (Health Policy) do not need to do a thesis. I'm not sure if this was sent to every single person who applied or only to applicants that are "still in the running", but thought I would share!
