Informal notification from POI, official notification and additional information regarding funding to follow

Why haven't I received my decision (probably rejection) yet?

Accepted into the XE masters program... will turn down, nearly impossible to fund in a city with the highest cost of living

Email a few days ago from the grad school stating I've been accepted. Later email from the department grad coordinator with details - TA position and modest entrance scholarship.

Anyone hear anything from Northwestern??

Accepted to XE program. Is XE a scam?

So I haven't heard back about anything. Should I assume I was rejected.

anyone hearing from Gates Cambridge?

ttpb don't fret! it often takes official letters longer to come around. if you've been informally accepted, you are as good as in :)

I've been informally accepted by the department last week (2/28)...but still no official offer letter. Very strange. IDK what to do at this point. Contact in the department said I should receive a letter by this week. So I'll wait til Friday I guess
