I emailed the grad chair of IfA 2 days ago to inquire about my application status. Got a really good reply (contentwise). They received 175 applications this year. I wasn't waitlisted. Good luck to all those who are still waiting! | ||||

TTPB: I emailed almost a month ago about the waitlist and and got a reply saying that, if any spots open up, it won't be until the 15th because people historically have waited until the last minute to make their decisions. In general I think that is a safe assumption to make about most waitlists. | ||||

Any updates on waitlisted candidates? Are ex-US candidates received the decision letters? I wrote to the graduate division some time ago and they said that the decisions have been sent via untracked postal services. I have not received the letter probably due to the COVID-19 situation. Does anyone know who to contact next to get the application status directly? | ||||
