Rejected from PhD, offered MS instead (funding not guaranteed). I believe I have a strong profile; I have 2+ years of research experience, 9 published papers in well-reputed IEEE conferences and Q1 journals, with 6 more papers currently under review in Q1/Q2 journals. Among these, 10 papers are as first-author, and the rest are as second or third author. I also have a strong SOP and very strong LORs from world top 2% scientists. No GRE.
