To the poster below, brother the results are already out. Now there are either people who are waitlisted or people who are rejected. You may want to email the ME department and inquire about your status. For those who are waitlisted, it is probably the professors are waiting for funding results which may come late or they are waiting for potential candidates to REJECT the offers.

To the poster about Purdue West Lafayette, I received an email about my admit to the MS CS program on the 20th of March. On the 27th, I received the official notice. I know one other person who has received admit to the MS CS program. I posted it on Gradcafe also. :) cheers!

To the admit below: Many Congrats!!! Do you know any other people who have got into MS CS? I know 3 people who got ICSP but none pure CS. Are there many people in your admits groups? Should we keep hopes for MS CS yet?

When are the results given, have many been already admitted to the MS program ??

Received an admission offer on April 3rd via email. I was on the waitlist, and fortunately, I am matriculated as a replacement for the first admitted one.

Decline my offer at Purdue, hope this helps someone on the waiting list!

To the poster who asked about the ISCP program. You will get a Master of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in information security degree. Job opportunities are good but not that great compared to a person who completes a traditional masters as USA prefers Us citizens for their security related federal jobs. Having said that, there are a lot of private companies who hire international students (Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, other private companies). Purdue being famous for their information security courses and the class sizes being very small, If you have interest towards the security side then it is a good opportunity for you.

To the poster below: TBH, it's hard to believe that none of the admits are using GC. I would hope at least a couple of people would post. Also saw nothing on yocket.com. I strongly feel they are yet to send MS CS admits :) Any chance you could ask your cousin to visit again and this time check "MS CS only and not ISCP" ?

To the posters below who got accepted into ISCP ( Information Security for Computing Professionals ). How is the program in general? Does it provide a Masters degree like M.Sc Information Security? How are the job opportunities after the program completion? I applied to Masters in Computer Science but got accepted into ISCP. Since this is a new program I cannot find much information online.
