It's true. I got the email today too.

Applied to nuclear fission engineering / MS in nuclear engineering, research experience at grad school and as a research intern at national lab, several conference papers but no journal paper

Forget about the waitlist. The student who got an interview from MIT Sloan, do you have any other info? Like if all invites have been released?

Had an interview.

Ignore the interview status. Did anyone hear from the OR program? If yes, did you get interviewed? TIA.

Applied to the materials field 2 years ago but failed. I am surprised to succeed this time without changing much of my application material, still with only a first-authored paper. So don't give up if you have only been rejected once!

2 years undergraduate research, two poster presentations, 3 very good LoRs. I felt like I flopped my interview (should've rehearsed the obvious questions much more) but thankfully I did well enough.

Just received this invitation. Contrary to many previous posts, this is not a troll.

Theoretical computer science. POI cc'ed. No interviews.

ignore the waitlist. Did anyone get into MIT from PL/compilers? If yes, please mention your POI as well. TIA.
