Undergrad GPA 8.71/10 (India 10-point grading scale), graduated with honors degree in ChemE. 16 months of research experience, with 3 months in Canada through MITACS Globalink Internship. 1.5 years of work experience at the time of application. No papers or conferences.

Selected for the M.S.Ed in Learning Sciences and Technologies program. Worked in the corporate and education sectors for the last 5 years to build a profile well-aligned to this program. Also received a merit scholarship worth USD 10,000.

Accepted this morning with 10k scholarship. Very excited, but will likely be turning down for another offer.

Was also awarded a $15k merit scholarship. Now choosing between UPenn and HGSE.

Received an email from Penn GSE admission, "The faculty has reviewed your application and an admission decision is now available." Checked the application portal. "Thank you for your application to the Penn Chief Learning Officer Ed.D. at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education (Penn GSE). The admissions committee has carefully reviewed your application. Based upon that review, Penn GSE is unable to extend an offer of admission to you at this time. "

Ignore wait listed; Does anyone applied to hep-th and cosmology under Prof. Mark Trodden got any acceptance or interview call. An answer would really help to make a decision. I haven't got any response so far.

Ignore WL - does anyone know if Penn has made all their offers and waitlists? Seems like most offers are out but only saw one waitlist post from a week ago

This marks the end of my first ever admissions cycle. 1a/2r

Email to check portal. :(
