(not wl) TTPB: sorry to hear... did you get an email about the rejection or was it on portal? any details in the rejection email? Thanks!

hehe

TTPB, i have not heard anything. I tried to email the officer, but they only told me that they have not heard anything. Do you have any news?

TTPB: NC State is my alma mater. They get 500+ applications every year and my advisor said he expected there to be a lot more applicants than that this year. There is no question that they are still going through applications and making decisions. Any offers they've already made were to obvious candidates.

TTPB: I also haven't heard anything, but I'd venture to say that's actually normal. Don't give up hope yet, it's definitely discouraging not hearing anything but I do think they still have a good amount of admissions left to give. I've asked around and it's likely that admissions are being done remotely through Zoom, so it's taking a lot longer than normal.

Recommended for admission into the M.Sc. program in Statistics starting in the Fall semester of 2021.Total level of financial support of at least $17,000 in the first year. Considered for an International Graduate Student Entrance Scholarship (IGSES),

Thank you OSU for support me:)

Admission email was standard - funding information is not available yet

Disappointed but not surprised as it is a highly competitive and elite program.
