The English Department faculty here at Northwestern University have completed the process of reviewing applications for the 2025 Litowitz MFA+MA class, and unfortunately, we are unable to extend you an offer of admission. Our program's size is carefully controlled, and we're obliged to turn down many excellent applicants as a result. Still, our faculty appreciate having been given the chance to read the work you submitted, as well as the letters of recommendation written on your behalf. I should mention that the number of applications we receive each year prevents us from providing feedback or advice related to the materials you sent. Regardless, we thank you for your application, and wish you all the best in the coming year. Sincerely, Nathan

email from Mark Winegardner, very high on waitlist. he said the chances of me getting a funded offer are good. SO stoked, will most likely accept their offer if it comes

Excited!!

Checked application portal. "We regret to inform you that you have not been admitted to The Ohio State University. You will receive further information by email. Thank you for your interest in Ohio State." I assume I will be hearing more from them later. Not pressed about this rejection, was just eager to get a quick result. 0a/1r/19p

The email said I was accepted and one day later I was given a Merit Scholarship!

This was my top choice because of their African American Lit courses.

Rejected off the waitlist. Hoping for next year!

1a/1w/9r/2p. portal notification. sooooooo thrilled to have gotten in!!! the school seems very exciting, unfortunately i am declining my offer. best wishes to those on the waitlist! :)

Accepted off the waitlist. I'm absolutely over the moon, I really thought it wasn't going to work out for me this cycle!!! I have one other waitlist to hear back from, but in all likelihood I will be accepting this offer.

Just got an email that all initial offers were accepted and they will not be using the waitlist. Absolutely gutted, this was my dream program :(

Received a call that I was moved off of the waitlist and accepted. Give past the standard April 15th decision deadline to commit.
