Today my status on the website changed from "UNDER DEPARTMENTAL/PROGRAM REVIEW" to "UNDER GRADUATE SCHOOL REVIEW," whatever that means.

Thank you! That's what I was expecting, even though I'm a little confused by the lack of communication.

Williams had an open house on March 15-16 for accepted and wait listed students. If you haven't been notified yet, it is probably a rejection. :(

Anyone else still waiting on Williams? I contacted admissions due to another waiting offer, but still no word.

I've accepted an offer from different institution already, but I appreciate the love from Rutgers. I wonder how many people they accept/wait list

Received email requesting an interview on 3/16 and had a brief one on 3/18. (Was told during the interview that I would be receiving admission soon but I didn't get official decision letter until today.) So happy!

To the poster below who wrote, "Prior mental illness which has been properly dealt with will not affect your ability to be a full-time student. They want to know if you have a physical or mental illness which is not under control, which could prevent you from functioning as a student. That is not unreasonable at all." I told them that my mental illness was in the past and had been properly dealt with. You can still be viewed as a liability though. It can go either way.

That's incorrect: the application asks "Indicate any physical or psychological condition that might affect your capacity to fulfill your obligation as a full-time student." Prior mental illness which has been properly dealt with will not affect your ability to be a full-time student. They want to know if you have a physical or mental illness which is not under control, which could prevent you from functioning as a student. That is not unreasonable at all.

The rejection letter is actually quite kind. I knew this one was a long shot, so I'm not totally shocked.
