16 months work experience; 2 internships; 2 major projects.

Disappointed :(

Finishing MA in Higher Ed

Got into another UC, prob gonna go to that

This is such a bummer! Got an other UC. But sucks to know I won't be going to UCLA.. congrats to all the admits!

Accepted by UCLA, rejected by UCSB. Did two years of working experience in local Chinese law firm, worked in Chinese non-profit organization, and currently teaching Chinese and Afterschool class to Chinese Americans. Constantly taking relevant classes in local community college and online coursera platform. Had family hardship and managed to strive.

sad... expected

F#*k UCLA. Would never have gone there anyways. Got into CMU MS CS

Saw it coming. This late after the application deadline.

From a top tier university in mechanical engineering with a decent research background. Devasted at the result. I thought I made the cut for UCLA. It has been a spree of rejections so far this season.

Thank you for applying to graduate study at UCLA. We regret to inform you that you are not being offered admission. UCLA receives many more applications than there are student places available. Each of these applications is carefully reviewed by a departmental faculty committee. In this extremely competitive environment, many talented and promising students are not recommended for admission by these committees.

Rejected....Disappointed

Checked the result via the application status portal. Kinda expected given that late result seldom means good things lol. Have better offers, but it pisses me off that they couldn't even bother to send out an email about status update.
