Interviewed with PI in January, received letter for nomination of admission by department + financial info.

Got email at 2 am central saying I had an admission status update.

Have people received official PhD admission letters from UCSD, UCLA, and USC Computer science? Seems like California is running late this season!

Post-interview, incredible program

To the previous posters: invitations were sent out some time back, and the open house is happening next week. All the best!

Emailed the grad coordinator because I hadn't heard anything - not a formal rejection yet, but an acceptance is "highly unlikely"

I am not sure about linguistics, but I knew people applying to other departments in UCSD have been invited and attended the open house late last week.

To the people below, I have the same situation. Their website says that the notification to the Open House will be sent in early February and the open house will be around late February. I haven't received any notifications yet.

Invited for a group interview on 2/17

Group Interview scheduled for 2/17!

Joint Doctoral Program UCSD/SDSU

I did not hear from SD at all since I submitted the application (no interviews from POI, no open campus invitation, etc.). Does it mean I am totally out? SD is my top choice, but I got an offer somewhere else, and I am kinda pushed to make a decision soon. Any ideas are welcomed!

Expected. It's a competitive program. Congratulations to those who got in!!
