Finally, the result is expected. No publication. My score of Toefl is not great enough. No chance to gain AD.

3 years research experience, 3 years work experience in a government agency, 4 publications 2 of which were first authorship, accepted to the communications and networking area with no funding.

They rejected me without an interview.

I regret to inform you that your application for admission to the University of California, Santa Barbara Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for Fall 2022 has been denied. Every year we have many more excellent candidates than we are able to accommodate, requiring us to make difficult decisions. Sometimes even outstanding applicants cannot be admitted. We appreciate your interest and regret that the decision could not have been more favorable. We wish you the very best in your educational endeavors.

Rise and shine baby :)))

Got into MEng, trying to convert to MASc because of funding. Any leads would be appreciated

Had an interview with PI. He was shifting to another school and asked me to shift with him. I politely declined the offer. Also received the option of recoding the application to the MEng Program at UIUC post rejection.

3 internships with prestigious organizations. Awesome letters of rec. Applied to MS program but got bumped up to Ph.D. after discussing career goals with advisor during interview. Full funding as graduate student researcher. Research area: Applied Electromagnetism
