Safety school, but still waiting to hear back from others!

Email to check portal. Did not click "ACCEPT" yet, because I have not committed to a school? Their wording is confusing. Related research. Very surprised. Congrats to everyone who also got in!

How did you find out your acceptance ?

I checked my application status and am on the "Alternate List". Absolutely love this program, faculty, and current graduate students! Does anyone have experience with being on a waitlist and being accepted? What are the chances of being accepted from the waitlist/what is the time frame? Thank you! :)

Letter in the mail saying I'm waitlisted and won't be notified further until April 16. I'm already accepted to the school I want to go, so guess I won't be going here.

To the poster asking how we found out about acceptance...I got an e-mail with my BearID and logged onto the application portal (GOBaylor). Under the Application Status tab it said Decision. I clicked on that and there were two attachments - one from the graduate school and one from the department - each discussing my admission to the program. Hope that helps! To the poster who answered my questions about funding...thank you! I clicked on the "Departmental Decision" letter, but unfortunately, there was not offer of funding included in my letter, despite having similar stats to you! It could be because I am a leveling student, as well as from out of state (North Carolina). Kinda bummed cause of the already expensive ticket price!

People who got accepted to Penn State- I didn't get an email but I checked the portal, and it states that "Your intended program of study has completed the first step and has offered you admission pending an eligibility review from the Graduate School." Does this mean I was accepted, and should I only click accept if I am to actually attend the school? This just seems a very anticlimactic acceptance if so.

Does University of Utah release decisions in waves? I haven't received an email yet

I saw other people were getting emails from Penn State so I checked my online portal despite not receiving an email. So excited to be accepted! My undergrad gpa was 3.38, but I've been attending a prereq program for SLP and have a 4.0 currently.

Notified via email waitlisted, interviews were yesterday so admissions/rejection decisions should be out soon if rejections have not already been sent.

No email, but assuming a letter is coming in the mail. Checked my online portal and under decision it said "admitted with no conditions" with a link attached to my acceptance letter.

Out of state applicant. 1 year of research experience, summer internship in the field, work experience with bilingual/multicultural populations, semi-fluent in ASL. Excited to be excepted but hoping to find some funding.

Didn't even expect to get wait listed, very surprised. If anyone got accepted and doesn't plan on attending please update your status. Thank you!!!
