I emailed to the department for an update. They told me that only one PhD int'l student will be accepted and my application is not competitive enough.

Waitlisted for the Master's in Data Science program. If you are accepted to the program but will not attend, please decline your offer. It's been a tough year.

NOT WL. I received a generic response from the department after I simply asked where my rejection letter was and when they expect to send them out... "Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our program. While we are not yet ready to release your decision, we can let you know that many of our admission and waitlist offers have already gone out. We hope to be back to you with a final decision soon."

so disappointed, nyu was my top choice, they took four months to replay with rejection!!! might apply next year, but I'm worried about asking my professors for a recommendation letter again. did any of you have an idea how can I have all the rec letters in one platform so I can submit them to whichever university I want in the future?

I never received an email that my status was updated; however, I saw the two other posts here and checked the portal. I got accepted to uOttawa in clinical psychology and accepted that offer!
