TTPB, Who was your POI ? Are you sure there is no waitlist ? My status is still "Under department review" . Also did you get in as well?

They are done sending all the admits. Spoke to my POI.

Any news from people emailing umd?

Checked the website because I saw posts from other people about checking the website. Agree with the others saying that it's bullshit for them to not email (and to wait this long to make decisions).

Randomly checked the website similar to posters below.

Not on the waitlist, No email. 5a/3w/8r/1p

For the MS CS, maybe try emailing [email protected] ? Tom Hurst, assists with all aspects of the CS graduate program for current and prospective students.

TBP Hi have you been waitlisted before?

Cowards! Send an email! Dropping the decision into the application portal without any notice like absolute pissants... Steven Fetter I will kiss you on the lips without breaking eye contact and then tell you that I reject this cowardly process!

Yes, that's the email ID, but nobody's responding on that. I emailed many times in the past couple weeks. Are their offices perhaps closed due to the pandemic or something?

TTPB: This is the email Id: [email protected]

TPB: Sorry to hear that :/ Were you waitlisted before the rejection?

Randomly checked the website - " DECISION STATUS: AVAILABLE BEGINNING 4/1/2020 "

TTPB: I have no information about the MS program. It would be better if you could reach out to the admissions office. If anyone knows a way of contacting the UMD CS admissions office, please share the email ID.

If PhD admissions are over, should we think the same for MS too?

TTPB: Yup, csgradof isn't responding. I also sent a couple of emails. Ph.D. offers have been made, I emailed one of the faculty members and he confirmed that I shouldn't expect acceptance if I haven't heard anything by now. But no official communication from UMD.

Have all MS admits been sent out? I emailed csgradof but no response. Should we hope for any further?
