Emailed me that the program is full. If I was a patient person I would defer my Northwestern acceptance to fall 2016 and apply to Iowa again. However, I am not a patient person.

Majored in chem and have 2 years of post-bacc neuroimaging research. Iowa is the only school that allowed me to defer admission to travel.

I would have made a great forecasting economist. I predicted I would be rejected and I was! Aside from the despondent humor, I feel like I want to puke.

Has anyone heard from the M.S. Statistics program since April 15?

Got admission to direct PhD-EE (VLSI) with full financial support. UG GPA: 3.94/4.00; GRE: 320; TOEFL: 95, 5 conference paper (Among them 3 in IEEE Xplore); 3 year relevant work experience.

Still on the wait-list at Iowa State. Hoping some of the people offered 2nd round admittance accept offers somewhere else.

I applied to ISU as MS but, after talking with one of professors, they changed my status to Ph.D. So excited to cover full tuition and even 26k stipend till my work is done!

All results this year came out. Thanks god! Only one program admitted me with funding and I could have an opportunity to pursue my PhD.

Without funding offer on 27th March. Now I have a funded offer, most Probably I will not accept the offer. Will reject within next few days.

I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for my undergrad, and am currently a co-inventor on a patent (pending) and have submitted my first paper (as the sole co-author), and will attend the University of Iowa this fall.

Not terribly useful information, since it's after April 15th and I've already decided to go somewhere else.

I am waitlisted for funding. So there seems to be a hope. Only problem is that I got a MA offer from another university to which I have to give an answer asap. Anyway I hope I am not in the bottom of the list. Best of Luck for admission 😊

To post below: I'll probably take the offer. Are you waitlisted for funding or waitlisted for admission? I know last year 10 out of 16 on the funding waitlist eventually received financial aid, so good luck.

I did not expect a reject from Iowa state university. This is the schools with least ranking from the list of univerisities I applied. Got admission in a better univerisity. Very unprofessional... Intially I was approached by a professor and assured a position with number of emails. They made me to wait for the university result for almost 1 month. Finally sent a reject. :-(
