Rejected after in person interview at the open house. Email said that my research goals were not a good fit for the department. They are probably right.

Already had a Skype interview but found out that the fit was not great. My POI has sent me a personal email before, so this rejection is expected. It's a great program! Congrats to those who are accepted!

GPA is MS. This is my top choice, so I'm really hoping those accepted decide to go somewhere else.

Had an interview, but my PI said that his lab isn't taking grad students this year.

I had interviewed in January, and the PI I have been in contact with told me Thursday that the department is going to offer me admission in a few days.

So incredibly happy!!!!!!!!!!
