No working experience but do have several interns

Shoutout Sociology PhD Woes Email to check portal. Gave me a few waver . Wasn't really a good fit but a few professors I really would have liked to work with

UChicago MAPSS graduate, grad GPA 3.86. Not a good match. Applied only because UChicago waives application fees for alumni:) But I haven't heard from any other programs either. 0a/1r/0w/0i. Good luck to you all!

Masters GPA, UGA undergrad, NYU masters. Email notifying decision in portal, rejected, no interview. Really not a good fit tbh, only applied because of prestige so not shocked. Rejection still sucks tho, good luck everyone!

email to check the portal. fit was just about ok, so not too surprised

Email to check portal

Received an email to check the portal, where there was a rejection letter. Not surprised given interviews went out last week, so this is what I was expecting. Not super upset as this wasn't a great fit for me, but still not fun to receive rejections. Good luck to everyone!

0a/0w/1r/6p, terrible fit relative to other schools

Knew when I didn't get an interview last week. Still hurts but I get it, 2 down. 8 to hear from

I received an email saying a decision was made, directing me to the status portal around 4pm (CET) on January 27th 2023 (Friday). I had no interview request last week, i kind of knew it was most likely a rejection.
