No interview, offered first year fellowship

No interview invitation, decision was directly given in an email rather than a portal

Expected as I was not interviewed. Research fit was a stretch, so I'm not too bummed.

Had chats with 3 professors prior to applying, didn't get interviewed so I saw this coming. I wish great news for you all if this is your top choice!

TTPB: email from the department, seems that the interview will be with the 2 co-chairs of the committee. Haven't heard from my POI yet...

TTPB (Boston): Congrats on the interview invitation! Did you hear from your POI or the department?

TTPB: I had selected BU as one of the free choices when I gave my GREs. Have a paper, but not yet published. Currently am doing a BS-MS degree, so have taken a few grad level classes.

TTPB: Did you also submit your Gres? Also, did you any paper? grad classes? advanced topics?

Currently a student at BU, invite to an interview in two weeks. My sub-field is historical linguistics.
