Rejected by the CPCB program after interview.

I was invited to their open house, but have not received any information about an admissions decision. I was told during my interview that the open house this year would only be for students that are accepted or wait listed.

Emailed by one of the PIs who interviewed me!

TTPB: I got an email last Saturday (2/6) that includes: "The admissions committee is still working on plans for interviews. We will contact you soon with details but it always takes longer than we think." Hope that helps! :)

Extensive research experience, great connection with PI and Lab, strong LORs.

PI emailed to break the news that their Lab has no funding this year (no avail TA-ships). :(

Received an offer letter via e-mail from one of my POI. He mentioned that the official letter would send out in the next few days.

I had informal (zoom) interview with PI before applications. No other subsequent interviews (formal or informal) after applications though. Then got offer letter today. Also, 24k stipend. I'm excited, my first offer.

For the person who got in, what sub program was it? I'm waiting on plant sciences and wonder if anyone has heard anything yet. I have not.
