Rejected post-interview. One-way interview was particularly painful experience. "Interview questions will be more behavioral rather than technical" was misleading (2/5 were not behavioral questions at all).

Have they send any other rounds of waitlist? Should we wait or accept offer from some other university. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

TTPB: I don’t think Columbia will refund the money but you can mail them regarding this and ask them to do the best that can be done. Cheers!

After a long wait

Will Columbia refund my money if I reject their offer? I have been accepted into a better program and want to go there but also don't want to loose my money.

Anyone who still hasn't heard anything back from Columbia after digital interview?

International UW undergrad

To whomever still on the waitlist and still waiting: don't give up hope but also don't put too much hope on it. It's rolling based admission, I just got off waitlist today and it's been a whole month since my interview. It's a really slow process but I am sure most of you guys already have a settlement outside UBC. I am thankful and best wish for those who are still waiting.

One-way interview in mid-April. I'm very disappointed with the whole process.

Congrats to all who were admitted. I don't get why it took them so long to get back to me. If they were going to reject me they should have done so much earlier. I even had the one-way interview in early April.

Received an email stating that I have strong profile and I am not part of first round of offers. Hence, waitlisted. Haven't heard back since then. Its been close to 4 weeks and no communication.

Got an email to check portal.

To the person below; I am in the same situation. Received digital interview on 4/11 and submitted on the same day. I had heard back from all other programs by the first week of April and even had a deadline to accept weeks ago. I'm really disappointed with the whole admissions process at Columbia - I thought today would be the absolute last day they will get back to me but once again left me to wonder.

Canadian with analytics experience. At least 3 other candidates have also accepted offers (Canadian with analytics experience, Canadian just finished undergrad, Indian with unknown experience). Other applications are still being reviewed.
