Had one reference un-submitted by the time of notification.

Got an offer from the university, still waiting for the scholarship. Clarendon and OIGS didn't work in my favor. Any other option to join university with full scholarship?

My road has been a very long and winding one, and it's all brought me to this point. Please decline if you plan on attending elsewhere.

Just emailed and called the office. Both sent an automatic reply informing that the department is closed till April 18. No idea if they'll still release decisions today like they had earlier promised. This is so frustrating.

To the two MFA applicants below, my app was referred by the grad school on Feb 1, but I never heard a word until Friday, April 14, 2017 at 4:53 p.m. when the English DGS called. I was caught completely off guard by the call. Don't give up as there will be a lot of movement early next week. GPA: BA-3.89; MA-4.0. GRE: Verbal-163. Attended Tier One South Regional University for undergrad/MA

Unfortunately, your grades were not competitive enough - the reason for rejection From UBC. An Indian student, CGPA -7.05, 2 years relevant work ex, strong LOR and SOI.

I submitted my application in January and still have not received any e-mail, I'm very disappointed in such disorganized admissions from such a good institution. I e-mailed first and was told I'd hear back by end of March, e-mailed a second time and they said 15th April. Still nothing.

The DGS called at 4:53 to make the offer. Huge surprise, but good! Full funding, waiver of tuition/fees, plus additional stipend to cover insurance.

Got an offer email from the department. Cheers to everyone!

Standard email. Not entirely surprised as it's such a competitive program. Off to LSE instead. Good luck to everyone accepted!

Got explanation for decline from the professor who interviewed me: "The main reason for the outcome is that we had many acceptances to our first round of offers, so unfortunately we have no capacity to extend additional offers, despite applications like your were still strong. I am sorry about the outcome, and I wish you all the best for your future."

Was waitlisted. Finally got rejected.

$13,000 academic year funding. Hoping to get limited funding during summer as well.
