TTPB who got accepted in TAMU: Did you receive an email directly from the MECH dept. about your admission? I also received an email few mins ago of 'application acknowledgement' but not admission decision. It says to wait 24 hours for the decision. I wonder if this is how they send rejections or acceptances? Any ideas? Btw Congrats on your Admission!

Just got the admission email today. No interview.

Yet to receive admission letter, they said in the next 24hours. No info on funding

Emailed to check on a status update. Honestly, a bit confused by this one but I guess they could tell I wasn't going to attend and there weren't great prof matches.

Was interviewed by a PI last week, as he was mentioned in my PS. He cannot determine whether to accept me until around the end of April. If the result comes late, I may consider other offers instead.

Was interviewed on the day of acceptance by a very nice female PI. I was told that this year fundings are extremely limited and ME department only plans to get 8+/- 2 PhDs for fall 2021. Profs consider students seriously before sending offers.

Just got my email offer of admission this morning! I am an International student and have completed my bachelors at a Canadian university. my CGPA is 3.2 and my final year GPA is 3.78.

Any PhD applicants got invited to Graduate Visit Day? Few of my friends were accepted to MS instead and they have visit day tomorrow.

Just got the acceptance letter for MEng Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. International student from Pakistan. CGPA 3.62 and Final Year GPA 3.8. Applied in early January. Hope this helps.
