Received $21k merit scholarship for first year (unclear whether this is renewable). Apparently fewer than 100 accepted from a pool of more than 800 applicants. Not bad! Looking at Intl Devt track. 3 years experience at State Dept.

Accepted w/ no funding; still, really excited!!!

Letter from Dr. Hilton attached in email

Fulbright fellow, two years of relevant work experience

Information on fellowship will be sent at a later date.

Called the department and was told that those who haven't been contacted until now should expect rejections.

Very happy, but no word on financial aid. Other universities did offer.

Disappointed, but got into SAIS so I can't be too bummed.

I have a couple years work experience. Good luck to everyone!

I checked my application profile on their site and the decision was posted there; not yet announced by email. Good luck to all.

No financial aid, found decision via online portal

Didn't hear about any funding. In at SAIS (no funding info yet) and Fletcher ($$$) so tough, but rewarding decision over the next month. Good luck to everyone else!

Contacted the department and received a quick reply.

It says: "The committee has recommended your admission to the Ph.D. program in Government to the Dean of the Graduate School. It has also recommended that you are placed on a waitlist for a Graduate Student Assistantship for the 2012-13 Academic Year, which is renewable for up to five years contingent upon satisfactory academic performance." I emailed the ad com director yesterday, letting him know that Georgetown is my top choice, but I have funded offers (5 year funding) and so I will likely only accept Georgetown with comparable funding.
