Rejected from PhD program but my application was sent to the Masters committee for review; No information on when I'll hear back on that decision though there is no funding associated with it and the deadline to withdraw my application for Masters consideration is 2/24.

Got an email that the portal had been updated, and it contained my admissions letter.

I am an international applicant and received an e-mail to apply for a student scholarship for my country. Applied for the scholarship now. Not sure what that means and didn't hear from the department yet. Anyone else in the same situation??

Not surprised, I didn't have an interview

I had interview on feb 4-5. One grad student told me that we will heard from them in 2-3 weeks so probably this week. The waiting is killing me!

Emailed by prospective PI. Applying straight from undergrad, 3.5 GPA, 1 REU and 1 year of research experience, 1 second-author publication. Can't believe I made it!!

3 years of undergrad research experience, 5 strong letters of recommendation. No publication.
