To the USC Cinema Studies applicant who received a rejection - did you receive this over email or on the You.Usc portal? I have no updates to my application and have not heard anything.

generic and short email to check the portal with a rejection letter sitting there. so much money on application fee's and GRE's for so little consideration.

ARH subfield. Not surprising. The interview process was unpleasant. A little anticlimactic, but congrats to those who were admitted.

hooray!

Notification of provisional acceptance from the director.

General rejection email - “we received many applications for very few places and are only able to accept less than 6%”.

Email with attached acceptance letter and funding. Previously interviewed in mid-January.

Notified by POI - no funding as of now but hopefully!

I actually emailed them a couple days prior to the automated email notification and they were so kind about everything. They responded quickly and with class.

Accepted into the master's program and to my surprise waitlisted for the PhD
