They sent a nice letter, but explained they were unable to accept many people due to Covid budget cuts. Not sure how realistic it is to expect to get off the waitlist.

Email with letter went to spam and apparently it's a problem others had, too (check your spam folder, 2021 applicants!). Full funding for 5 years + teaching assistantship. 3.85 Master's GPA + teaching assistant for all 4 semesters. 2A/0W/0R/2P

Accepted without funding.

If anyone got into NC State for poetry and doesn't want to go please decline. This is my first choice.

Email with letter attached. Admission but no funding. Says scholarships may be available from UNC, but LSPS has extremely limited funds for assistantships.

Interviewed 2/4-2/5

Accepted today after previously being on the waitlist since 1/21/21

Please, ignore "waitlisted". Has someone received news of North Carolina at Chapel Hill?

Anyone receive any news yet?

They told me to check the portal, not surprised it wasn't the best fit, congratulations to everyone who got in!!!

TPB: I'm doing second round interviews with faculty members in a particular field of interest this week. Don't have too much hope on this one if you didn't receive the first round. They will only move down to you if not enough interviewed candidates accept their offers, which is rare.
