TTPB: I haven't seen an NLP admit for this univ so far..I'm also tracking their NLP decisions too, seeing as that is my area of interest as well!.. let's just hope for the best!

Invited to campus visit at the end of March

Has anyone with NLP as their research interest been admitted here yet?

Fully funded with fellowship.

Received email (that went to spam) telling me to check status, received another email stating to expect a letter about funding sometime this week.

GPA out of 10, foreigner, 1st reject, wish me luck!

No interview.

Anyone heard from University of Maryland for the Marketing program?

They indicated a decision would be made by April. Not my first choice, will probably go with the other schools I was accepted into.

While applying I used the college measure to calculate my GPA and I submitted 3.1 instead of 3.6 because that's what they asked me to do. I was a late applicant and didn't fill the Google form for CS. Also didn't have and supervisor. I believe these might be the reasons why I got rejected.

Emailed a link to the application portal

TTPB who asked about Maryland. I am about to finish my masters, have done several research internships before, a couple of 1st author workshop papers and one 1st author paper in the main conference. My area is ML. Stay positive and good luck :)
