I got an acceptance from this school. But, I'm gonna reject it because I had a horrible experience with this professor, Samuel Kassegne. He was very rude and condescending over the email. That made me not wanting to go to SDSU at all cost. If you get into the program, hope you do't get this Samuel Kassegne.

Surprised by this, the department was a great fit for my research interests, I have a a 4.0 in my MA in Political Science, tons of international experience, solid GRE though quant was a bit weak but not terrible.

Classiest rejection yet. I am just glad to know the status.

Form Letter. Letting me know that for Valentines Day, they thoughtfully brought me an existential crisis. Awwwwww.

This is my first official rejection, but I now have every reason to believe I'll be boxed out this season.

shit

Arrived at 12:01am PST.

Unofficial yet.

Super excited about this program. Still ironing out financials and waiting on a handful of other apps before making a decision.

Official (but polite) email.

Well, had I not taken a chance to apply, I wouldn't have known I'd be rejected. Life makes a different turn.

To all the UCSD applicants discussing here, I received a mail from the department with this information "Applicants are accepted and rejected on a rolling basis until mid-April. Every applicant will receive notice of acceptance or rejection to our program by the end of this period. " Dont panic, there is still time. IF you don't have an admit, it doesn't necessarily mean you are rejected already.

Accepted to the Physical Oceanography curricular group. Same poster as before regarding the AOS open house.

Notified for second round skype interview.

I'll not accept it anyway. Good luck to the wait-listers.
