Letting informing that I have been put on the alternative list from which they will choose if any vacancies occur. Gave me an option to accept or decline my space on the alternative list within the next 15 days.

Utterly disappointed. IIT Grad with 3-year work experience in data science. 324 GRE and 108 TOEFL. Can't figure out the reason for the rejection.

Please, please reject the offer if you guys happen to have some better places to go.

Email to check portal :(

I had an interview with them two months ago and I haven't gotten a single communication since. It feels rude for them to wait this long just to send a generic letter of rejection.

ã… .ã…

Has someone heard back from Duke? It seems they haven't moved their waitlist at all since first-wave decisions in February. Am I right? Tks!

If anyone has a better offer it will really help me out! I genuinely hope to attend this program. Thank you in advance.

Double post, accidentally put rejected under notification instead of accepted.

Accepted off the waitlist. Barring me winning the NSF, I will probably take the offer. Also to a poster below, two spots are on offer this year.

Told via email to check applicant status page.

Email to check portal. I'm glad one of my professors encouraged me to apply here because I didn't have a "safety" PhD program (i.e a place I applied to for the sake of getting in somewhere) and have been rejected from almost all so far. So on the off chance you've been accepted and know you're going somewhere else, it'd be much appreciated if you could decline. Congrats to everyone who's gotten in somewhere this season has been brutal by the looks of it!
