UC Davis qn below: No interview, submitted late November

To the post on UC Davis below, when did you guys submit the application and was there an interview?

Didn't mention funding.

Anyway, thank you for not keeping me waiting

No funding mentioned. Did not have an interview.

To the poster who asked about an interview-- There wasn't one. They directly admitted me.

Email to check status; no funding mentioned yet

"Every year there is a large number of applications to the BGS Program, and unfortunately your application was not among those we were able to accept."

Offer to join M.S. instead. To hear back on funding, if any, by late February.

'I regret to inform you that we cannot offer you admission to our program. Every year we receive many fine applications. Unfortunately, we cannot admit every applicant.'
