TTPB: UCSD wins hands-down. It has a stronger CS department, more difficult to get into, strong industry ties, and has the ideal location on the west coast!

TTPB: Congrats man. UCSD job and industry wise. There are many reports out there to show UCSD is only a ranking or two below CMU for job prospects. Mind sharing your stats? For all of us that got rejected by UCSD

Off of waitlist.

Have been accepted to both UCSD for MS in CS and NYU Courant for MS in CS. My main area is NLP and I wish to join the industry upon graduation. Which one is a better choice?

Has anyone heard back from the Department? Any chance of getting an admit now?

American with UK master's. Offered admission to master's program, no funding.

Received offers from JHU and BU in February and waitlisted from NYU late February. Just received offer off waitlist from NYU today after they asked if I was interested in attending last week. So excited and already accepted! Declined BU today accordingly, already declined JHU few weeks ago. Best of luck to everyone. End of cycle for me.

I'm quite certain that the department hasn't made decisions regarding international applicants yet. So, the post below is most likely by a troll. Don't lose hope international applicants!

Rejected my offer; best of luck to those on the waitlist!

[Not Waitlist] Still not heard back from Courant and Tandon. After this point, I am sure that it is rejection and will accept other offers.

Really happy. Was literally the last application to not send a reject and I saw posts about rejects coming out today. Was a quick turnaround of the frown I had on while checking my mail

Another day, Another Rejection. If Tandon can also just send out their results soon, it will put an end to my misery.

My last decision, last rejection as well. At least the misery ended.

Courant MSCS. Email to check the portal.
