Rejected by email from the department. Still waiting on the official application to reflect it.

Received the offer of admissions from my department. Received the official green light through Grad Division on 2/26

Going crazy seeing people get accepted and rejected while I have heard nothing (no interview). Help

That was my first choice. It's really hard. I got a personal email from my POI telling me that the application pool was unusually strong and that they prioritized comp. stuff this year. I was encouraged to apply next year. I had an interview in early January, but was not invited to the open house.

Official offer from the Dean of GS on 2/27 (a little after midnight), but the informal offer from the Visual Arts Dept grad directors came Feb. 8.

3th time that this program reject me lol

Thank god! Did not want to go to my safety. :)

Finally a positive result. 1 acceptance, 6 rejections, 7 more schools to go.

Got email: "There has been a change in the status of your application to ..." Heart sank. What a first email to get! Could not be happier. Everyone who interviewed was of high caliber. 12 months full time biopharma industry experience, no papers, skrew the GRE. Funding is 41k; housing? 3k...

I was invited, but I couldn't attend the open house and my status is still "submitted" on the portal.
