Email to check portal. Letter says: “ We have reviewed your application to the Economics - A.M. program and are impressed by your credentials. While we cannot offer you admissions at this time, your application is sufficiently strong to allow for the possibility of admission at a later date. Your name has therefore been placed on an alternate list from which we will choose if vacancies occur“

not good

Does someone know when Duke will start admitting students on the waitlist? When I contacted them, they said that "the process for waitlisted students typically continues through March and sometimes into April", but from here it seems they have not touched the waitlist yet. Tks!

TTPB: Congrats on your admission! Could you please specify your POI and/or research area? Thanks in advance

Admitted with $33k/year funding!

Anyone know how many waitlist were sent?

My grades weren't stellar. But good recos from two of my profs under whom I have done some research might have helped. My first admit.

Out of waitlist! So happy! Thanks for declining the offer

Email to check the portal. Regretful since this is what I most wish to go. Anyway, good luck to others.

Received an email notifying that the decision has been posted to my application status page. My first admission......

to those admitted, do you plan to take the offer

TPB: Do you know how many offers were sent? Thanks!

Said funding will be sent in a separate email; but haven't received anything yet
