Very surprised, but I hope this gives others confidence. 3.6 UG from a small liberal arts college. No GRE. Just great recs and a great statement. Best of luck to all!

I think this program only admits students with extremely high CGPAs.

No surprise as my background is unusual. Have a master's degree in mathematics from my country's top university and an MBA from one of the public Ivys. Subject Math 940 (96%).

Interview invitation from POI, with whom I chat over zoom previously. Had an interview the next day. There was another faculty from the admission committee. I felt the interview didn't go well though. Have a master's degree in mathematics from my country's top university and obtained MBA from one of the public Ivy schools.

Does anyone know how much hope can we be dropped off from the wl and typically when? They said this year they have 500+ applicants, and there is no rank for the wl. I don't quite understand what does "rank" mean here? So like if one day we can be dropped off, we will together?

No GRE.
