Sorry correction after checking their website: this CDT do admit non-UK/EU student, although the number is very limited

Got rejection letter right before Christmas without interview. They basically won't admit non-EU/UK students. But don't care as this is not the right program for me. Had already got admission from a more desired DPhil by then. So grateful !

Retracting my unofficial acceptance result from last week. I will be asked to take a second interview before an official decision is taken.

To the person asked, - automated verification (never done it ) & ML and NLP things yes i have it on my CV and undergrad, but most of it was off topic, if i have done this and so on.... if so they started to dig deeper in that space, it was rather intense, bit nothing too crazy!

May I ask if that was based on things that you wrote on your personal statement or random questions?
