One service learning project, 10 hours of shadowing First Steps, so limited extracurriculars. But, I have worked full time the past four years to pay for my own college since I am a first-generation student. So my resume was stacked with jobs. Also I have a studio art minor.

I went to Purdue for undergrad. Involved in a research lab and been an ASL TA. Told me to check my portal.

This was somewhat unexpected as it was my undergraduate institution, but also Purdue is somewhat of a mess right now, so I'm not too mad about it.

3.78 GPA, 3.6 CSD coursework GPA, SLPA license, taught English abroad for two years, 500+ hours of undergrad research with presentations and awards, but was rejected from other universities. Memphis was my top choice!

Research experience in 2 labs, double major in Spanish, 50+ hours of hospital observations during study abroad, leadership position volunteering with middle schoolers, 2 fundraising positions. Hope someone finds this encouraging! Your GPA is not everything :)
