GPA 4.25/4.3 from Ecole Polytechnique Paris, some research exp, two excellence scholarships

CMT. Bachelor's GPA - 3.97, Master's GPA - 3.60 (as calculated from Scholaro). 2.5 years of relevant research experience with three different faculty at the time of application and 1 summer internship from US. 1 single author arXiv but no publication. No GRE. Had some good email exchanges with one of the faculty members. This one hurts :) If someone got accepted please let me know, I am just curious about the minimum profile cutoff for Boston.

Undergraduate from Italy with average 29.6/30 grades. Acceptance conditional with BSc graduation.

Generic, obnoxiously blunt rejection letter framing the applicant as outright not good enough. This will be remembered.
