Accepted with a generous graduate fellowship, and super happy for the offer! Letter was dated Feb 10 and went straight to spam. I found out about it when my potential supervisor emailed me. My bad.

4 publications including one in PNAS, plus an MS.

Pretty much expected this rejection, but figured I had a decent shot with a letter of rec from a faculty member there. Oh well :/

Called department anonymously to inquire about the timing of decisions. Was told that the first round of decisions has already gone out.

Tuition waiver and full funding for 4 years. My master's GPA is 4.0 and I have 5 years research experience, three REU's, one publication, five conference posters.

Accepted into the school, but not sure about funding yet. Decent GPA, GSA presentation, and industry experience.

Waiting for official letter, but potential PI emailed me to say that I was accepted! Shocked and excited!

no funding

Only accepting one student this year, PI contacted me a few days ago. Got official notice in the mail.

PI says there were other applicants whose research interests better matched hers.

I received an email with an attached letter that said I was being recommended for admission by the department to the Graduate Division.

Accepted with funding. Lots of discussion with PI about potential projects.

Awarded the Rensselaer Graduate Fellowship. Covers first year (no TA or RA). Department funding for other years still tbd.

To the poster below me: I have not heard back from the Geological Sciences department either. I read that one student said they had an interview but that was long ago.
