Had 2 research experiences, ~ 1 year for each. No intern. Several personal projects on GitHub. 1 paper is under review, and 1 project is undergoing but didn't really mention them. No teaching experience at the time of application, but will teach a student-led course in the next quarter. Got 4 recommenders; all are professors from my undergrad school. One graduated from Yale a long long long time ago, not sure whether does that help in the end lol.

did not expect to get in so not disappointed

Ashamed of myself, wish this season was not so brutal. I will be attending USC this fall assuming Stanford is a reject which it is going to be

Notified through email yesterday but I was too nervous to check until today. I'm so ecstatic!!!!! Finally I'm in HYPSM, this is such a dream come true.

Surprised by this rejection. This season has been a bloodbath. Thank god Columbia has my back or I would probably be depressed as h-yale (PLEASE LAUGH TO MASK MY SORROW).

Stings! I go to a Top 5 CS college (known mainly for CS) in the United States. 1+ year research with no publications, glhf all! Hope admitted students have a good time at Yale

1 year of research, 1 paper, and 2 FAANG internships. Feel like I got filtered by GPA (< 3.5) and they didn't really consider the rest of my profile. Oh well feeling a tad depressed today.

hate yale, im going to attend cmu instead. wanted to go to IV school but guess its not for me

reject reject reject reject im so sick of it im gonna try again next season but what went wrong?

f** my life

Feeling really sad about this rejection, I thought I had a strong application. Form a top 5 CS school with a strong GPA and LORs. Biggest weakness was my GRE score. I have 2 papers published in top journals and one pending review. Reach out if you have any questions or advice

Notified via email to check portal. 1.5 years of research experience, no papers published with one preprint. International but graduated from top 10 US university with CS major. Good luck to all and congrats to those admitted.

MPH in biostatistics. Does anyone know if we can ask department about our position on the waitlist? And what's the chance of getting off the waitlist? Any advice is appreciated!

BSE Computer Science and BA Statistics from the University of Florida finished in 3 years. 1 year TA experience, 1.5 years research experience but no publications, internship.
