Email received from the College of Liberal Arts and Science stating acceptance into PhD program. They mentioned official letter of acceptance to arrive in upcoming days from online portal.

Ignore status: Has anyone heard back post interview day? From their PI or the program? Anything?

I received an email directing me to the portal, where I saw the notification that I was rejected. I honestly thought the interview went well, so this is quite disappointing. With 4 years of research experience, 2.5 years of clinical experience, 3 first-author papers, 4 other papers in preparation, and 8 poster presentations, I thought my qualifications would be more than sufficient. Apparently, that’s not the case.

notified via email at 8pm ET. told me im a strong candidate and will be interviewed if any of the current acceptee's do not accept the offer by march 4th. if anyone doesn't wanna go pleaaaase help a friend out lol. this is my dream program.
