Invited to open house the last weekend of February

TTPB: I also had a phone call and am attending the open house. message me at cl27 if you wanna chat beforehand!

I had a casual phone call with the director, and I was invited to visit Feb 27th and 28th. (the phone call was mostly him answering my questions about the department, it was not a traditional interview)

I went to the second visit date on 1/31 and was accepted shortly after on 2/4. I'm not positive how many other biostats candidates there were because there were so many people and I didn't get to talk to everyone, but I think maybe 3 others. Maybe more

To the poster below, which visitation weekend did you attend? And, how many applicants of biostatistics Ph.D. attended that visitation weekend? Thank you for the response in advance.

No interview before acceptance. Very excited!

During the interview, they said I was highly qualified, best student. Rejected after interview. Don't say it if you don't mean it.

Message from the committee: the application pool this year is unusually strong. Wish I was born a year early.

Only applied for biostatistics program, sent me 2 identical rejection letter, broke my heart twice.

To the UF post below: did you receive interview?
