Avg GPA and diverse professional experience. Email to check application status. No word on funding yet.

Checked application portal on the 24th and standard rejection was posted, received email to check portal over 24 hours later. Applied with a high undergraduate GPA from prestigious university and highly regarded recommenders.

Notified to check the online portal. Was one of my top programs but happy I got into my other top program. : )

3 research experiences, 2 papers in progress, 2 international co-ops, and many leadership experiences in related fields. However, I had to continually reach out to them to get any sort of feedback, and the funding offer that they extended (I would still owe 11,000 euros for one year, on top of moving and living in another country, as well as moving again for the final internship) makes it practically impossible for me to go.

Email to check SGS portal, decision document updated

Dont let a low GPA keep you away! I even got $6k funding!!!! Loads of international experience including Peace Corps. Fluent in 3 languages, learning 4th. Strong SOP and LORs. Definitely a top choice but will see what other schools have to offer first. Also got accepted at AU SIS.

To the poster related to UT-Austin: did they offer a good package? Good funding?

Just some details- added with not an ounce of bitterness just meaning to be informative for future applicants- contacted department many times and never heard a response before I applied, then they impressed me with their use of snail mail (even a letter to confirm I applied) though Greta Thunberg would not agree, which lead to my observation of their lack of care in updating their system with results for weeks. Just be prepared.

POI rejected me because I'm disabled

1w5 scholarship, but I am not going

Accepted via email to check the portal today. Offered $6000 annually. 3.7 undergrad, two years of relevant work experience both domestically and abroad. 6a/1r/1p. Good luck to all!

No email, but logged into the their system to check and there was a generic decision letter saying I wasn't admitted. All applications rejected this year, despite MA from prestigious school with high GPA, many publications and symposium presentations, and highly regarded recommenders.
